Sterling Christian School

Student Standards of Conduct

Students at SCS have a reputation of excellence academically, socially, and in the community. Therefore, as a condition of enrollment, students agree to abide by all the standards set forth in the SCS handbook.

Students are to:

  1. Act in a responsible manner and be respectful to authority: principal, teachers, school support staff, volunteers, coaches, and clergy.
  2. Students are to follow directions obediently and respectfully.
  3. Students are to use language that becomes a Christian.
  4. Students are to display courtesy at all times.
  5. Students are to tell the truth at all times.
  6. Students will maintain acceptable classroom behavior as established by each individual teacher.
  7. Students are to show reverence during prayer and liturgical celebrations.
  8. Students are to adhere to the dress code.

A student's signature on the student agreement binds them to these standards from the point of initial enrollment until graduation or official withdrawal or dismissal. This includes all summer vacations, holidays, and school breaks.

The handbook, available online here has been designed to provide parents and students with a ready reference guide to various aspects of Sterling Christian School.
